Copper Sun AI works best in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. JavaScript must be enabled. We recommend Chrome or Firefox for the most consistent experience.
Team and Organization
What is an organization?
An organization is your team’s workspace in Copper Sun AI. It holds your subscription, team members, projects, campaigns, and uploaded files. Organizations also have their own context profile—brand voice, audience data, competitive landscape, and style guidelines—that the AI references automatically across all projects and module sessions.
How do I invite team members?
Go to Settings → Members and use the invite form to add team members by email. Invitees receive an email with a link to join your organization. Each invited member uses one seat from your subscription.
What are the organization roles?
Organizations have three roles: Owner (full access including billing), Admin (manage members and settings), and Member (access to projects and AI modules). Owners and admins can manage team membership.
Can I collaborate on projects?
Yes. Within your organization, projects can be shared with specific team members. Project owners control who has access. Shared members can view project files and run their own AI module sessions within that project. Chats are private to the person who created them.
Projects, Campaigns, and Files
How is work organized?
Work is organized in three levels: Campaignsare the top level—hub projects that organize related work across multiple workstreams (like a product launch or brand refresh). Campaign context, decisions, and files flow down to all linked projects. Projects sit inside campaigns (or standalone) and hold your files, context, and chats for a specific initiative. Chats are individual AI conversations within a project, each using a specific module. You can have as many chats as you need per project.
What is the Project Kickoff?
The Project Kickoff module is the recommended starting point for any substantial initiative. It’s a conversation—not a form—where the AI helps you define goals, audience, messaging, deliverables, and timeline. If you’ve uploaded a brief or transcript, it reads that first and only asks for what’s missing. When complete, it produces a structured kickoff document and saves project context that every subsequent chat in the project inherits automatically.
What file types can I upload?
PDF, Word (.docx), plain text (.txt), Markdown (.md), CSV, JSON, images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP), PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx), and transcript formats (VTT, SRT). Files are processed, summarized, and made available as context for your AI module sessions.
What is the difference between organization, campaign, and project files?
Files can be uploaded at three levels. Organization files (like brand guidelines and company research) are available across all projects in your organization. Campaign files (like campaign briefs and shared research) are available to all projects linked to that campaign. Project files are specific to that project only. All three levels are indexed and referenced by the AI during module sessions.
Can I upload expert interview transcripts?
Yes. The platform has dedicated transcript processing for interview recordings. Upload transcript files (VTT, SRT, or plain text) and the platform extracts insights, key quotes, and data points that are woven into your module sessions automatically.
How are my files used by the AI?
Uploaded files are processed into summaries and indexed for search. When you work in a module session, the AI automatically finds and references relevant parts of your documents based on the conversation. It can also pull up full documents when deeper context is needed.
AI Modules and Chats
What are AI modules?
Modules are structured AI workflows designed for specific marketing tasks—from campaign strategy and concepting to content creation and execution. Each module guides you through a step-by-step process, producing better outputs than generic AI prompting.
What AI powers the platform?
Copper Sun AI is powered by frontier large language models selected for structured writing and marketing tasks. We continuously evaluate and upgrade the underlying models to deliver the best possible output quality.
How do I start a new chat?
Click the “New Chat” button in the project sidebar. You’ll see a module selector where you choose which workflow to use—Campaign Strategy, Blog Writing, Email Campaigns, and so on. The chat opens with that module’s workflow loaded and your project context already in place.
Can I switch modules during a chat?
Yes. Use the module selector in the chat header to switch to a different module mid-conversation. The AI creates a handoff summary so your context and decisions carry over into the new module.
Should I keep chats focused or use one long conversation?
Keep each chat focused on one task or deliverable. Start a new chat when you move to a different piece of work—your project context carries over automatically, so a fresh chat gives the AI a clean slate to focus on the new task. Multiple short, focused chats produce better results than one long, sprawling conversation.
Can I use my own brand materials in chats?
Yes. Any files uploaded to your organization, campaign, or project are automatically available in your chat sessions. The AI reads and references these files when generating content, keeping outputs on-brand and in context.
Where can I get help inside the platform?
Built-in support is available directly in any chat. Just ask the AI for help—it can answer questions about the platform, modules, file uploads, projects, and more. No need to leave the conversation.
Subscription and Billing
How is pricing structured?
Copper Sun AI uses seat-based, organization-level billing. The Pro plan starts at $1,500/month for five seats. Additional seats above five are $200/seat/month. Annual billing is available at $15,000/year (save ~17%). See the pricing page for current rates.
How do I add seats?
Additional seats can be added at any time from your organization settings. New seats are billed on a prorated basis for the remainder of your current billing period.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time from your organization’s billing settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law.
Who handles payment processing?
Payments are processed securely by LemonSqueezy. Copper Sun AI never stores or accesses your credit card details. For billing disputes or invoice questions, contact us using the link below.
Privacy and Data
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Content you create or upload through the platform is not used to train AI models. Our agreements with AI providers prohibit them from using your content for training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains accessible while your account exists. You can delete projects, files, and chat history at any time through the platform. You can also delete your account entirely from Settings → Danger Zone, which removes all your data. Organization owners can delete the organization from the same page.
